For the plot event~ 
Mametaro was in his new home when the storm came in. He never liked thunder to begin with and thanks to this tornado his fear got worse. He then bolted to the bathroom where his human was, also scared of the storm. Both he and the other dog friend stayed there till the storm pass and hopefully survive together!
